leongchai, methinks the YF is coming in next year end. Perhaps sonata transform (2009) will come in early next year too. I am sure some1 in this forum knows exactly when is the date. smile_approve.gif

If the YF were to hit the shores, methinks it will debut at RM130k. For sure the pricing will be 20-30k below the popular marques.

I saw a NF for sale 2007 at RM70k only. Cheap cheap. Worth the money lar. Buy now, use it now. Sell when you want to upgrade. You can never catch the perfect timing.
I would have quoted someone smart here and make me look smart but not as much smarter as the smart one I quoted from. I'm smart, yeah!

It is RM18 from the Hyumal that I asked, same as KB.

I just paid RM14+ for an NF oil filter from Hyumal Glenmarie today. Labour charges for 70k km oil change at RM40+ smile_approve.gif

haha... I don't think that person will come in anytime soon as he's no longer forumming I think.

Rumour has it YF was sighted in Kuching and just now my kaki just informed me there's a new sonata in town but he's really not into cars but he said the tail lights does not look like nf wor.

there is a 2.4 selling at 81.8k and a 2.0 selling at 70k - why not go for those? smile_thumbup.gif

Thanks kcfu. I am not in a hurry to get the car so I can wait for a few months to see how this works out. Not really inhe to 2nd hand units as I prefer a new car. SA offerred the 2.0 at 108+k and willing to nego so I believe I do have some room to go. If they are willing to let go for <100k next yr...... smile_thumbup.gif "just woke up"..

After a few other brands "testdrive", I book a Sonata NF 2.0...
Later "testdrive" Avante, and fall in love with it... Change my mind...
Waiting... Hopefully can get that "Incus Avante" instead...

From reliable sources, the Sonata YF will be on our shores by mid or third quarter 2010...
Price range for a 2.0L will be cheaper by +/- RM10k from the Camry and Accord 2.0L if not mistaken...
I was informed to wait for the YF... but my PV6 "gearbox" and "engine leakage" most probably cannot wait that long...

Will update...

If the Sonata YF is RM10k lower, then I'm afraid SD has screwed up yet again.

Even if the YF comes with full specs including the panoramic roof, it will not sell with a RM10k price differential. It needs to be at least RM25k to RM30k cheaper with full specs to make people sit up and pay attention.

I do hope they maintain the current price differential... which 2.4 is 128.8k, whereas 2.4 for camda is 170k... if n0t the current, 30k is different is still fair, but not 10k.. but if they really have a full specs hihgest luxury version, i don't mind a 10k different.
