I heard KIA's air filter is compatible with S40, could anyone advise which
exact model of KIA's air filter could be fixed in S40?

Can I transfer the K&N filter on KIA to S40?

Is Kia Caren ( now Naza Citra ) and Spectra , actually the K&N air filter
for S40 & Kia are the same price...so not different.

Only if you compare oem filter for both s40 & Kia will be much
different on cost but again it will different on perfomance as well...

It is not easy to get K&N filter for S40, so can you confirm that I could
purchase the K&N filter on Kia Caren or Spectra for my S40 instead?

many shop stock it. try - SpeedWorks, Hokomotor, Rosedi,
Kakimotor....might want to try N1 Racing, Autobags and even Eneos
kepong...1u one no stock ...any how those K&N products at Eneos
are supplied by Speedworks.....if really can't find it then only go for kia.

If from JB, there also have SpeedWorks outlet or you can try VIS Auto
Lab at permas Jaya..they might have one.

Had check on the K&N products code and confirmed the S40 & kia
caren are the same.

Hi Richard,
I am looking for low end rev fuel saving with the K&N filter. However my
search found that K&N air filter is only best at high rev, I wonder it is
more wise-able to stick with the original Volvo filter, since the
filtration capability is much better than oil-based filter? I don't really
need more oomph at higher rev as it is already turbo charged.

Your view pls.

Hi Richard,
Instead of spending the $ into K&N filter, I have decided to invest a
little bit more in the Stainless Steel Brakeline Kits.
Pls see URL below:

Pretty good deal.
