S40 2.4i - update

Hi. To be honest, I am planning to invest quite a bit on the aftermarket
ICE.

Hence, I have managed to reduce my list two 2 choices per component after
2 months ;).

To answer your question, definitely it will work. Just install a
standalone system, meaning your whole current setup will be redundant.

Any system for 5k is better than the current volvo stock system.

5 k for a woofer? No way for me. You can get top of the line for that
amount, you can get 2 very very excellent ones.

BTW, I found the amp, some cheapo from China in the boot ;)

i m actually looking to update n upgrade d existing system....dont want to
really complicate n upset d car system by putting anor standalone
system...it will be a bit messy as well...h/e if u manage to do it without
much changing d facia...may be i wld lov to see how u do it...

Have your S40 software upgraded at Volvo service center and the problem
will be history. Had upgraded mine. No more jerking while slowing down.
