choice you have made and hopefully you'll be the benchmark for all your
friends, family and associates in following your footstep, taking a step
closer to owning a superior machine.
Merry Xmas & Happy New Year!!

Will call you definitely when I'm ready for the test drive. So is there
any changes to the price of S40?

than a BMW 3series or Mercs etc.
More sober car, safer, better value than a BMW. Volvo resale prices getting
better, especially for new generation cars.
S40 big best seller in the U.S. and Australia.
Heck... its suitable for any twenty something boy or girl. Even a thirty
something.
Married? First Car? Get the S60.
Married with Kids? Get the XC90.

My apologies for the late reply. Yes, do let me know when you wanna meet
then and we could set up an appointment. As for the pricing, it is stil
sustaining the launch pricing at 190k. Indication has it that it will
most likely increase some time 2nd quarter of the year (subjected to the
principle`s decision)

law prohibits 14 year old from driving so 18 will have to do.
For 18 years old, I think the M3 is more suitable...hmm.....

I was extremely impressed. The interior oozes class. The slim dashboard is
so simple and elegant, no wood-panelling non-sense.
The engine revs willingly without complains, too willingly that I almost
over-revved the engine on one occasion. I drove the car with the
transmission in manual mode that time. I glanced at the instruments and
the tacho is already approaching the red line. I upshifted just on time.
However, I would like to add that, having driven the Mazda6 and a couple
of the newer Beemers, I prefer that the directions "+/-" function of the
gearbox be reversed (pull to upshift, push to downshift).
I brought a friend along for a test drive. At the showroom, he whispered
to me, he'd rather take a BMW 3-series or a Merc C-Class, as he still
harbours the old school thinking about Volvos. After passing the wheel to
him, he had a 180 degree about turn in his opinion. He was all smiles.
I've driven an E46 325i, and I'd pick the S40 ahead of it any day. To me,
at RM190k, the choice is between the S40 and the 'to-be-launched' Mazda6
2.3.
Too bad the exterior styling sucks, (to me lar ) but it doesn't ruin
what really is a very good car.
