I dont like sugarcoating the conditions of my car. Plus I'm too busy (or
lazy) to fix such little niggles that dont really hampers my mobility. At
least you know I'm honest and didnt try to hide anything for the buyer.

Ken, please email me if you when you got the time to see my car
(hopefully it wont be sold till thenWink)

I don't consider them as 'sugarcoating'... not at all.

Wookie,

I think "sugarcoating" is not honest loh. "Sugarcoating" means you have
it fixed "temporarily" with the objective that the potential buyer would
not notice the defects.

But by repairing it properly or replacing the parts, that is not
sugarcoating loh, IMHO. That is more like "reconditioning".Big Smile

Cheers.

dun think ampangbear meant S.C. take me for example, if were to buy a
used Volvo, this small little stuffs sometimes will hold back my buying
unless am a DIY. maybe its human, I would go round looking another one
but if happen to find one which gearnobs and all the little stuff are in
good condition, the heart, somehow will tend to say YES. Than follow by
the un-seen engine problem and whats there to be as secondary.

Exactly 363 days to takeover a V70 from some owners out there and
counting down. Hopefully by end this year, the price will be lower.

sidetrack, if V70 no child seats, can get potong shop 850 T5 child seat
to installed on it without major modification?

mlkulwk,

Am not sure the price for the V70, but if you're referring to the Volvo
ori one, it's more than RM1K... and rare item even at potongs.

Resorted to Graco, about the same price, but sister wanted it, so, got
Maxi-Cosy for mine.

363 days..? Hehehe...

I noticed that there are seat belts along with the child seats. Probably
have to fix the seat belts too. Unless it's standard. Bro AB, did you fix
yours with seat belts?

My T5 hunt comes to an end today. Viewed 12 units within one month and
short listed 2 units. 1 unit 850T5 and 1 unit V70T5. Decision time...sigh,
always the most headache.

Hi Richard!
Ken is more interested in V40 apparently after testing the T5s. Most of
them are worn down and needs lots of refurbishing. He just checked out the
serdang's unit another time today. Finalising I guess. :D U might got a
new 'kaki'! :D:D
