So I went to this shopping complex, found this empty parking space with a
kancil on the left and a CRV on the right. The CRV parked quite near to
the line so I was forced to parked nearer to the kancil since there're
plenty of space there anyway. Went off to do my errants and came back
after about an hour, the kancil and CRV are now gone. A black colored bmw
now parked at the place where the kancil used to be. Due to the fact that
I left a larger gap between my car and the CRV that was there previuosly,
my car is now really near to the BMW. I guess this annoyed the driver of
the BMW and I found a long scratch on the passenger side of my car (the
side closer to the BMW). Really pissed me off that people will just do
this kind of things. Some of my friends who work around that area came and
have a look and all of them said it's quite obvious that the driver of the
BMW must have done this. Anyway I left without doing anything to that car
since I can't be sure whether the BMW driver is the guilty party or not. I
hope my friends didn't do anything to the car after I left, I told them
not too anyway. So if you're in the same situation, what would you do ?

Don't touch unless you are 100% sure.

The thing is, even if I am 100% sure, is that the right thing to do ??

Picolo,

You can never be 100% sure.

I once parked beside a car which had its rear bumper freshly dented. When I
came back my car had a long scratch. The only thing I could think of was
that the other driver was 100% sure that I dented his/her bumper.

pkmy,
True, that's why I didn't do anything to the car, but it's frustrating
though.

labbit,
My guess is the BMW since it has a 'better' reason to do it ?? Even though
my car was parked nearer to the kancil side, there's still a big gap
between us cos of it's small size but not for the bmw.

bamboo,
Yeah, well, my second thought was to make a report but didn't do it cos
dun think it'll make a difference .. my first thought was to do the same
to the BM Big Smile

actually, i think the kancil owner did it.

why? because you parked near to him, and he must be thinking that you are
doing it because he drives a kancil.

but, i don't dicsount that the beemer didn't do it...but it will be rahter
foolish to do it while YOUR car and HIS car are still there isn't it?

i mean, if i were to do it, i would do it when i am leaving, not after i
parked my car and going to do my errants...agree?

as for me, i encounter these drivers many times, esp those that park out
of their lines/at the lines...my general consensus is these ppl don't
really care about their car, so, be it you scratch the car or not, it
won't make a diff to them...

i drive a kancil, but i give due respect to other driver as well, esp when
it comes to parking spaces...if shit happens, then jsut too bad...

i got loads of dent, due to car swinging their door oepn, perhaps the
drivers are jsut too fat and had difficulty getting out, so my symphaty to
them, as i am fitter, and stronger, and helatier that them..like my mum
always say: "don's humilate those people that is already cacat more than
you should"
