Got it installed in Alor Star :P Yes still could move the gear stick with
the shift lock (a small button near the gear stick there) pressed. I
tried it. But it's almost impossible to drive above 30km/h without
pressing brake pedal as handbrake for auto transmission car can't
effectively stop the car in short distance.

I tried it and almost got accident, so don't try it at home, you're
warned :P

prefer Locktech that only cost RM388. Do anyone get a lower price than this?

LOCKTECH has conducted even higher test with 6 locking level meaning a
total of 6 lock cyclinders built in a single locktech structure, but
found out that not even neccessary , so carryboy 3lock means nothing.
also heard carryboy is under legal obligation to pay LOCKTECH for
immitation damages in thailand.

H20,

perhaps 1 out of 100 car thieves want to tow our cars and there may be 2
out of 100 would point gun to take our cars away. so we are in better
position of not losing our cars parked on streets. if we could reduce
being targets, why not?

Vuuse,

you sound so defensive. What's the matter with you? People are discussing
whether locking the brake would be of any use, they're not shooting at
you.

Besides, it could be beneficial for their product to read this forum, who
knows, they could learn something or improve on on their product.

just try to explain in details as part of my job. when you need to answer
so many questions, few sentences posted here can solve all.

guys, knowing brake locks may not prevent car-thefts 100%...but can anyone
comment whether locktech or autolock (smartshop) is better in terms of
quality, convenience, difficulty in 'breaking' it, etc?
