When will it be launched here in Malaysia? Any idea on the price? One
LR sales chap roughly not less than RM 380K. Ask Brunei importer, it's
gonna be around < BD 100K.

At first sight, it looks too geeky for being squarish. However it really
grows on me.

hi shamoo

this has been discuss at length in the "The new discovery " thread.

in any case:

1)Expected to be launch by 2nd quarter 2005 (earliest) depending wether
demand subside ,because currently production halted for 3 months and
couln't cope with curent order. If not launch in Mal will be delayed as
well becasue it will be CBU

2) Expect to be on the high side of 450K++ (LRM source..actually the guy
who sold me the D2) , straight into the region of a X5.

3) Brunei price dunno because no duty, no nothing...just convert 36K GBp
into MYR. (entry level)

squarish is LR theme, no contest there...I dunno about being geeky.
Anyone says the RR3 is geeky ? dun think so. it exudes class and
sophistication. My ex boss drove his RR3 too frequent even to the point
of ignoring his S class. that says a lot...

d3 is nearly double the price of d2. it take a serious LR guy or a
moneyed one to consider buying one.

one thng for sure , like you said " LR3.....exciting " is so true.

Thanks man.

Been wanting to trade in my P38 to Td5, however they stop selling due to
the launch of LR3. I believe there are some round lamps units left in
Ampang which are being used by LR bosses, yet to be sold as LR approved
used vehicle. The last time I check, they were only keen in selling off
Freelanders instead.

Apart from buying a Brunei vehicle & use it in Sabah, I don't see any
prospect in getting my hands on LR3.

Another thing, is there any circulation of LR ONE LIFE magazine here? I
got 2 copies from Brunei when I visited their showroom. The local KK LR
has no idea what I'm taking about.

why trade p38 to td5?, it is a stepdown afaik. Why a disco ??

Yes they stopped selling td5 months ago and only deals with FL and RR.
Funny thing, the final batches of Td5 demand went mad. there was a huge
rush for it. I dunno why. Price increased somemore... Your final option
is to scour the paper. I saw one mata bulat 03 model up for sale for
180K, but not too often. you will see mostly mata empatsegi for sale...
Lr one life. I heard of it but never seen it myself. any good ka ?

LR3 will chart new growth for LR as a whole. It will attract even people
from BMW camps or Volvo even.. it is that good!!

yeah

they do keep stock. So far never have to wait for anything. But for RR,
they have limited stock. I remember 1 guy in a RR3 came and ask for a
bixenon conversion (LR standard mod). LRM have to fly in those item from
Hong Kong using same-day despatch. Get ready for this...the cost is 7K
just for bulb set.

I was sitting a few away and heard the whole thing...

nearly wet my pants there when they number was mentioned Shock
