Candyman,
go and have a test drive. Bring the whole family as well, that the best
way to know either the mpv is suit for you need or not.

Warranty if i'm not mistaken is 5 years.

I also waiting to see new stream to coming out but still no news. No need
to rush. Take sometime to see around.

Current Grandis owner, can you help to compare the specs with the current
version. Mitsu homepage already updated with the new specs. Wanted to know
what have they added or taken out.

thanks...

I've booked mine last week.
Expected end Nov or early Dec.
Lead time getting longer.

OTR is actually MYR163K...not MYR158K.
Funny....everyone gave comments & comparison on this Grandis vs the
previous model BUT.....No one actually pointed out the most CRITICAL or
should I say MOST IMPORTANT feature which is missing......

TRACTION CONTROL

Why I say this ??.....If you notice, Grandis is using Semi-Trailing
suspension for it's rear. This "No.1 suspension IN THE 80s" is by far
outdated or even almost obsoleted from the car industry. When Multi-Link
was introduced in the 90s, Semi-Trailing almost disappeared. Of
cos.....Multi-Link is much much more expensive.

Anyhow....the importance of having Traction Control is due to the fact
that the biggest DISADVANTAGE of Semi-Trailing is high risk of OVERSTEER.

Therefore, drive carefully & SLOWLY.

From my observation on this new Grandis....below are the setbacks.

1) No 2-DIN DVD Touch Screen Monitor in the front.
2) No GPS Navigator.
3) No reverse camera.
4) No Xenon HID headlamp.
5) No leather seats.
6) No Traction Control. (very important - to counter item 7 below)
7) Using Semi-Trailing Suspension for the Rear.

kenntg/lampa,

Congratulations on your bookings.
May I know if you managed to get any discounts from the RRP, and what the
interest rate offered on the loan?

Many thanks.

semi trailling suspension is subjective to me.. it is like having
discussion on SOHC and DOHC... disc and drums brake... it is very cheap CBU
while have same class as estima, odyssey, 807....

where can you see the grandis? Seems like there is no mpv at any of the
mitsubishi outlet.
2 months waiting list- delivery Dec/Jan

Lancer GT- 7 months waiting list- nowadays who will wait this long unless
the deposit is fully refundable- 7 months anything can happen. Amazinng
Malaysian car market.

aju....nope. I didn't get any discount.
I did asked for it but it seems the car price has been brought down to
this level....so no discount.
Even the SA commission is not much.
If you press them for discount....pity them.

Yesterday....there was a Black Grandis on display at Midvalley.
Dunno if it's still there.

I got my loan from Public Bank at 2.25% previously for my Camry 2.4V
It arrived and I cancelled my Camry for Grandis.
So....I've not confirmed if I can transfer my loan.

So...are you joining The Team Grandis ?? (joking....not exist yet.)Big Smile
