The Swift's pick up is not bad if you do a slightly higher tuning. Just
bring it back to SC and get them to tune it one step higher.

After tuning, your RPM can hold up to 6500 and then you switch gear
compared to your stock tuning that will change at around 5000-5500RPM.

Anyway, the swift is better at high end. Low end can be better if you
change to performance air filter.

Dun forget, if you're testing the CKD, it probably haven't run-in yet. The
Swift's engine will only fully open up at 3k mileage. Take it easy bro.

A friend of mine have changed the extractor to a stainless steel one with
4-2-1 pipings. So that means, the cat is gone. No engine check light
issue. Feedback was it can accelerate very easily, and really have to
control the right foot to maintain speed.

is it OK to change the exhaust system? as I checked with Suzuki Center last time, they claim that any changes will void the car warranty..

I used to own a Swift circa 2008 model, the one before the current facelift. Imho, Swift is really lacking in throttle response. I think this is bcos it is lacking in low end torque. Once on highway speed, it is pretty ok, but still need to properly plan when overtaking, or I would frequently have to manually shift to 3rd for more oomph.

I used to have tension driving the Swift as every Myvi (200cc less no less) seems to be able to overtake me quite easily, unless I keep the revs above 3500-4000rpm.

One thing good, in fact excellent about the Swift is its peerless ride and especially handling. Even on stock wheels + tyres, it steers with accuracy and grips like it won't let go. Stability at speeds dry or wet is also very good. The chassis is so good in the class that it feels like it can take way more power than stock.

Well, maybe I'm biased in my perception, as at about the same time, my other ride is a turbocharged Euro hot hatch. So, an NA car, especially a 1.5, won't live up to my billing. smile_tongue.gif
