If you open the fuel cap you should hear the pressure release if the fuel hoses to the petrol tank is good. There is actually 2 hoses connecting the fuel tank to the fuel inlet. One for the petrol to go in (big diameter rubber hose) and the other smaller diameter one is for venting. If you don't hear any pressure released when you open the fuel cap, then suspect either one or both to be leaking.

If that part not in good condition. only when filling in petrol will have leak, right? Venting hose just to balance up air pressure and release air pocket. Driving time will not leak....

The fuel leak from 2 rubber hoses to the fuel tank (factory fitted) problem is quite common in earlier batch of Waja with grey interior (not sure if this also the same for the latter batch with beige interior).  The 2 hoses will disintegrate and there will slow leak. A replacement (also original Proton) seemed to be better built. Maybe Proton vendor has improved the quality of those newer batch hoses.  The original replacement  hoses are less than RM100 for both pieces.

Although it seemed logically only apply to filling will leak when hose not good, but I observed after highway driving the leak will be more apparent although no filling was done during the session.
