In short, I did all the necessary of engine rebuilding works (Complete
strip-off); considering my engine has clocked 850,000++Kms since I owned
it from Year 1990.
On top of this, I also take the opportunity to renew all clutch syst.,&
timing mechanism as well.
I also inspect & replace as necessary, all hoses (Coolant & Vacuum) the
ignition, fuel, cooling, suspension, and brake syst. too.
Total comprehensive repair cost is less than 3K.
Total no. of days in workshop: 1 week.

coz mine crack but the tauke want my old one because he want to replace
on the used engine. then, my friend also buy tappets from chop shop and
the tauke replace his tappet into the used engine.
if the buyer dont know, he will end up buying a used engine with cracked
cover and faulty tappets.... the tauke wont tell one..

1) engine full overhaul, all gaskets, piston ring, con-rod bearing, main
bearing would be replaced. All Japanese made parts.
2) Change timing belt (Mitsubishi), Tensioner bearing (NTN) and oil seals
(NOK).
3) Change water pump (NPW,Japan), all rubber hoses (5pcs)and brass pipe
and radiator coolant (Toyota)
4) Change all 4 engine mountings (Lokco with 1 year warranty)
cost about 1K

piston & block. Basically, can upgrade your engine to 1.5 without need to
go to JPJ inspection. However need to find workshop that can."
Firstly, I think whenever u change the engine block, you need to get yr
car approved by JPJ because the engine number is carved on the engine
block. Unless the mech can re-carve yr old engine number onto the new 1.5
block.
Secondly, for engine or block swap, we CANNOT use local engines. Example
if you friend changes his 4G15 to Evo3's engine, and you take over his
and hook into yours, that's illegal. For any engine swap, u need to get
it from chop-shops ie. imported engines.
That's what I'm aware of.

850,000km? Are you a taxi driver?

No, I'm not a TAXI driver.
I'm only a low-paid employee; I can't afford even a 1980++ CIVIC.
