I think your friend can reuse the manual tranny from
FTO. The tranny itself is quite difficult to source.

If Proton sells replacement gearboxes for the manual
SEi Perdana, how much would it cost? I'm sure this one
will fit the V6 too.

BridgestoneRE711, yes there is. Look for it. I have a
frend that converted his PV6 to manual tranny.

Earthman, the FTO box will not fit in a PV6.

Mean, the brand new autobox costs about RM20,000 brand
new. I guess the manual ones would not be too far off.

Is perdana part generally expensive?
am looking for the rear spoiler(seen one anyone?....on the back of the bonet)...anybody knows how much it cost??

Really dunno how to describe lah...should be the eterna one..looks very sleek and nice ...not too fancyful.
By the way does all perdana comes with ABS..any batch that is without ABS?
As I'm on my way to purchase the 97' Perdana GLI (Manual)....not sure whether it got ABS and auto cruise function... as owner have changed the ori steering to sports steering.

How to find out??? Even the current owner dunno!!
