Can any fellow forumers elighten this...recently I noticed a number of vehicles bearing the plate "TTB xxxx"

As far as I'm aware, current Trengganu running number plate is TBx xxxx. How on earth can current Trengganu number plate be TTB xxxx?

Or perhaps TTB is a limited edition plate released by G and therefore, has nothing to do with Trengganu state?

Thank you in advance to whatever the replies from fellow forumers B)

Hi again,

I've already found out that the plate "TTB" is a special editon JPJ release for Trengganu registered vehicle. It is released by JPJ under the approval of the Minister of Transport at the request of Trengganu State in conjuction with the current state government slogan of "Transformasi Trengganu Baru" and the said plate is actually scheduled to be released around the year 2076 but brought forward to 2016 for the reasons mentioned above. Hopefully that explains the question that I posed above which truly puzzled me until I found out the answer recently. Cheers!

Hi again,

Just found out recently to the question I posed above that the plate "TTB" means "Transformasi Trengganu Baru" released by JPJ after the Minister of Transport approved the request from Trengganu state government last year. In reality, it is estimated to be released around the year 2076 but was approved to be released in 2016 as explained above. Hope the info helps.
