hi guys.. greetings..

I have to admit being a newbee in this AR forum but just wanted to share
a thought with you AR die hard fans out there..

Well, the name AR itself stands out in its own class, second to none as
far as you guys are concerned but its just a bit too rough on the pocket
for some fans.. Anyway, its pure satisfaction and if you can afford it,
why not enjoy it..

just leave a comment if you are free and we shall take it from there..

11 years ago i worked with Milan Auto service centre.

yes, i do agree alfa's boxer engines have their own individual
characteristics. it sounds like the timing is off and yet as the revs go
higher, the more we get addicted to the power.

even the boxer 1.6 with about 100bhp could touch 200kmh top speed.

4 items that one must really take care when owning a boxer alfa

1. timing belt, that wont last more than 30,000km. nowadays maybe theres
a better alternative. for 146/5, the front bumper need to be removed in
order to access the timing belt

2. engine cooling fan. overheating is part of any european car. always
note the temperature gauge.

3. air-cond. among favourite problems for citroen, peugoet, fiat and alfa.
not really a problem, but irritating without.

4. clutch pump leak. the leak is internal, so it looses pressure to
operate clutch common.

even though i call myself an alfisti (really love them), but the cost of
maintaining an alfa doesnt adapt well with my bank accounts.

p/s must stick to being semi-alfisti

My bro just bought an AR 146, 1.7L, 16V..

Its a good buy even though price was RM 16k coz only 55k kms on the clock.

I was suprised that there are some rich people out there whom actually
buy cars but do not use them much.. In fact 55k kms for a 11 year car is
unbelieveable..

Really worth its price coz its like driving a new AR for 16k. Plz don ask
if mileage is genuine.. Well, It is my fren coz this owner had a few cars
and seldom used this one..

Anyway, just wanted to share this info with all you guys out there..

cheers..

the 1.7 has some serious top end power with good handling to match.
plus a driver's airbag and ABS, fog lamps front and rear.

i agree with sach, whack the car!! LOL

yes mr. sach..

I think you said the right words. Bolli has a proven track record
of "trashing" e.ting he laid his fingers on.. Just 4 da record..
[ACF6922 - Yamaha RXZ], [ACE9922 - TX3], [WHW5999 - P/Wira 1.8 DOHC]. All
these wheels were in excellent cond until they got into the wrong
hands.. "BOLLI" the mAnimal..

sam, jublak n sach..

You guys are really right man..

Just met Bolli last week and he drove his Alfa down. Boy, the car does
not look the same as it looked when he first bought it. It looks pale!

As usual, Bolli is "Milking" this machine as though it was an Italian
Chic and there was no tomorrow. U get what I mean..

He crazy man.. He floors the pedal and changes gear only when the rpm
cuts off at 7.5k rpms.,

So, need not say further.. I think you know the rest is gonna be
History...

Cheers..

sach..

ha ha.. really cant wait to see what's da outcome man but I guess
Bolli's "Bella" will be torn.

So Bolli, you better bring her an extra pair of change coz we would not
want to see her running ard showing us her ass, though it we would be
glad to "Milk Her"...

Bolli, no heart feelings man.. it's a fact.
