Hmm, seems like city fuel consumption is all the same. But I do guarantee highway consumption for the new gen myvi is 15 percent better than the sec gen.

City mileage depends on the traffic conditions too, if plenty of stop and idle, mileage will be much less. Highway driving depends on the right foot....hahhaha

I tried with my wife's forester, 2.0i NA with CVT gb. Drive in city can get around 8 to 9km/L. If short distance like from home to office and plenty of speed breaker, sometime 6 to 7km/L only. On highway doing 90kph, can get 14km/L, 110kph around 12.5 to 13km/L. So from worse to best can actually double, so we burn plenty of fuel in city....

Not to forget, different loads from A/C to passengers and barang-barang.

So, on average 17.xx Km/L Highway, 12.xx in City is OK for my 2012 Myvi

@vr2turbo. I see, so basically if u want to save fuel in city driving is very hard and almost impossible. All we can do is just drive responsibly. I guess the more patience the driver the more mileage he gets and the less patient the driver the lesser mileage he gets haha

@mr engineer. I assume the 12.xx kmpl u get in city driving has less stop and go and less idling involved becuz 12.xx kmpl is considered in the mixed driving category. Mine is kinda 98% city drive so can't blame the car for the bad mileage too

Yeah. But now I'm being asked nicely to look at the 2019 1.5L version...
