Hi sifus ! I am new to 4WDs and trucks. Need your advise. Would a new Ford Ranger 2WD Lo rider be a viable alternative to a basic car like the Almera or Vios?
I plan on using it for daily city commute plus weekly long distance runs and occasional trips to palm oil estate, quite level road.
My concerns would be :
1. Would the clutch be too heavy for daily city use?
2. Will the ground clearance be too low?
3. How will the fuel consumption be like?

I think such a truck would have lower maintenance cos smaller cheaper tyres, no 4WDs?
Please advise.
Forgot to mention ride comfort. Would it be too bumpy for the missus and children?
