Accord Based Perdana In The Works

I think people are getting the wrong end of the stick. It's not a rebadge.

Proton are using the platform to make their own D segment car. It should give Proton a decent jumping off point and Honda get to squeeze a few extra yen from their technology.

The 'new' Accord looks almost exactly the same as the current one so it Proton were allowed to rebadge it, nobody would buy a 'new' Accord.

It's also not clear which generation the platform originally belonged to.

a perdana without a v6 doesnt feel right....that car was defined by its v6 engine....

This was mentioned a while back by Proton but this is probably a more realistic - they just filed a trademark for the name -Proton Suprima


The Suprima now turns out to be Preve Hatchback. With that, is the Perdana successor still happening?
