For me japanese car r not old fashion & outdated, that ur personal opinion after been hypnotised by various hidden advertisement or what Jayraptor would called it Infected news, perhaps u r reading it from ur product sales guide, Japanese car r lasting fashion & ultra reliable.

Yes I would consider a Fortunner or Pajero Sport if I need a "Real 4 X 4" 7 seater compare to a wannabe Santa Fe, If U really need to go offroad such as construction site & estate, U would know Santa Fe r totally craps, I bet it would end up in sercive centre after a few trip to these site.

No offence just my & many millions people around the world who trust Japanese car more than Korean," Opinions". smile_approve.gif

Not old fashion? many Jap car still using very very old technology. No doubt its reliable but just "uncle".

Ask yourself, how often do u go off road? hypnotised? infected? It's not right that you make assumption for others. I'm currently driving a Jap car but just can't take it anymore. I have no prob with Jap cars. Just that I really think that few models are really for uncle, such as Fortuner, Altist, Camry, X-Trail, Innova. Sorry if you are driving one of these.

Would u buy an X-Trail or Innova then? These are uncle car champion to me.

There r car cater for the young market & there r car cater for the mature market, just like there r fashion cater for young & fashion for the mature, eg U expect a middle age cough2 AY...auntie wearing mini skirt, leather pants or uncle wearing slim fit shirts & pants ?
even their body able fit in not even eye pleasing scene right ? Unless middle age crisis uncle/auntie Lol....

The japanese car has been in the market longer they know this very well, eg in US there sell a more sporty Camry & Altima as D segment there r for the mass & younger market, where else a more mature Camry & Teana for asian market, as more most buyer of D segment here are more mature.

Nothing wrong with X Trail as it meant for more hardcore SUV buyer & for the youngster there r Quashqai/Dualis, as for Innova is create for asean family who require a tougher MPV that can run on rular B road of asean market like Indonesia & Malaysia (as the platform derived from Hilux).

If I am hardcore 4 X 4 fan, I don't mind getting a ultra uncle Land Rover Defender myself. smile_approve.gif

Korean car manufacture know that It is a uphill task for them to penetrate mature market, as most of these buyer had some form of bad experience with the older generation korean car, that why they rather concentrate on youngster & design what I would call a hairdresser car, (Looks like a million bucks but not necessary perform like one),
I believed eventually the korean manufacture would need to made mature or what u called "uncle/AY..Auntie car" as the korean birth rate is low, the matured market will become their prime market. smile_approve.gif

Perhaps u would understand when u grow older or wiser. As the skies r not always blue as dusk will come eventually smile_big.gif

Dear Jolokia,

I seriously don't think that this is the forum for u. U should go back to the Japanese car forums as you seriously are Jap car supporter. You just make ppl hate you more here.

Do not use the word hypnotized to describe Korean car lovers. Are u jealous that Korean car had improved so much? I can fully understand such feeling. If not why should you say that people who loves Korean car are hypnotized?

Please understand that the advancement of Korean cars in terms of technology and design create positive competition to Jap car manufacturer. This is good for us as a consumer. Therefore I don't understand what you are trying to do here. Calling Korean car Hairdresser car? To satisfy your personal ego and jealousy?

U acted like u understood the market situation so well like you are the expert in the Jap car market. If you like cars and want the automotive industry to grow, please leave this forum. You are not doing any good if you keep posting anti Korean car statement in this "Korean" forum. You may deny this, but we can all read your past posts.

Please just leave this forum and do not bash everything the Korean car lovers say about the Korean car. You can go back to the Jap car forum and condemn about Korean car, nobody will hate you there.

I'm now near to 50yr and I know what car I like. Now only I know why Kaylcar dislikes you so much.

I do like a few Jap car. Even I dislike a few uncle Jap car, I do not condemn Jap car in Jap forum. Therefore, think about what you are doing now in Korean car forum.

Again, please understand that this is a forum for Korean car lovers. You do not belong here.

Then how do you prove that current Korean cars are "not necessary practical when it come to daily usage"? or are you again making your own assumption? Is that not condemning?

prove it. You are slapping your own face.

I had always enjoyed reading korean section of AW there r so many amateur "Kacang/Peanut" here. LOL...

Eg. Hyundai No.1 seller Elantra r fitted with 6 speeds gear box & Elegance fluidity design which is "supposed" to be better then it's Japanese rival like Corolla & Altis in paper spec.
But in reality the 1.8 Engine simply doesn't have enough torque to optimize the 6 speed gear box, causing it constantly serching for gear some would car it hunting for gear (base on paultan blog test drive), whereas Civic which been fitted with 5 Speed gear box run smoothly (Base on US THL test drive report), The fluidity line may be nice to look at but compromised by low real headroom (base on kellybook review), even Gunner had commented that it looks like a million bucks but not perform better that a Civic, to compromise the stylist dashboard design air cond vent had been place at a odd lower the usual location, paultan blog too comment that the plastic button fitted in Elantra feel like a calculator Lol...
Many test review too highlight another Hyundai top selling Sonata engine to be not as refine as Japanese rival, include many forum member comment the 2.0 Theta 2 engine to be harsh.
Tucson which been fitted with dual VVT Theta 2 engine & 6 speed gearbox supposed to have better FC that CRV, Pug3008 & X-Trail, again base on paultan SUV shootout done last year, Tucson end up with the highest FC.

I would not ask u to slap ur own face in return, but rather read more & think more, perhaps it would help u out of ur self hypnotising. smile_approve.gif

I think you should just bugger off. Soon you will piss enough people off to suffer the same fate as SV. You are surely one arrogant rude Singaporean, (typical), coming to the Korean forum without any car just to write detrimental nonsense because you are a Japanese car salesman and terrified of Korean competition...right? smile_approve.gif

smile_thumbup.gif ...but what to do with this stubborn little shit? He has admitted on more than one occasion that he just comes here to wind owners up, poke fun at them and their rides, and everyone who owns a Korean car is a salesman in disguise......"so many amateur "Kacang/Peanut" here" (his words), which amuses him to insult! Notice any thread posted about Korean cars, Veloster, Sonata, Elantra, Santa Fe he immediately pounces with derogatory remarks usually about how the Jap car is far superior to anything from Korea. I would call that a Troll, someone coming here and deliberately provoking, flaming, insulting and ridiculing saying all Korean car owners are "hypnotized"! The irony is, most buyers are "hypnotized" by any Japanese car badges. If the Forum Admin had any balls he would have banned this Troll many posts ago, or even locked out the thread...or maybe he hasn't read his own Forum Posting Policy?
If anyone feels elbowed out of this forum because of this jokerkia Troll, speak up because his mission is to close down any Korean car forums or topics. Ignoring this Evil MF is not the answer! I don't hate him, I just want rid of him.smile_approve.gif
