What you guys think of what our Transport Minister suggested.
For EV, instead of charging station, he suggested that you swap your depleted Battery for a fully charged Battery and continue your journey.
A simple solution to promote the usage of EV for long distance travel.
But is it practical or even possible.
Who is to guarantee that the battery you came with the car that swapped is still of good quality.
What about Warranty issue.
What about technological differences between various EV companies.
Perhaps its possible if the industry decided to put aside their differences and cooperate.
Just like standardized batteries, AA, AAA, etc
Just like Blue Ray, VHS, etc
Will this be the way of the future, swapping batteries.
What say u guys

i like the idea of charging stations and when the battery cell is expired - change it to a refurbish / new battery cell. as this will encourage recycling.. but wait..! its all depend on the technology wheter the cell is reusable or not. hmmm
