Hi all!

I found out that the standard suspension system on my Swift seems to be "too soft" (with 3-5 adults) especially when driving over speed bumps/humps, it always hits the undercarriage!!

So, I was wondering, by changing to "stiffer" shock absorbers will it solve the problem? If it does, what brand and type is best?

Any help and advises is highly appreciated!

Thanks, all!

Thanks for the info, NohadT5 !

Well, I headed of to Sato Accessories shop and they kindly (yes siree! that's what i said: KINDLY) suggested me to use this so called "Jinkae Spring Bumper Retainer (a.k.a. Silicone Spring Pads) " on my ride instead of the shocks which cost around RM2k !!

So they fitted it on for RM200 for two pairs and.......I'm luving it every bit!! smile_big.gif

No problemo, dude! The one that I went is located in Seksyen 7, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. If you wanna get a hold of the guy, here's his mobile #: 016 283 1342 - Huat.

Btw, I also bought a set of door visors for RM90.00, is this a good deal?

RM 90 for visor was a good real. I paid RM 130 at the SC. Thinking to adjust the suspension as well.

Thanks for the reply, BSDriver!

Are going for the 'adjustable shocks' or the 'silicone spring pads' like I did?

I drove up to Rawang today from B.B.Bangi to my relatives place and I must say that my ride(suspension set up) is much, much better than before (with 5 people)! It's slightly stiffer and less "bouncy" too!

If you're gonna go for some shocks, here's some prices (for comparison) which my mechanic (not Sato) gave me but not the adjustable type:-

(1) KYB Japan (front): RM400.00
(2) KYB Japan (rear) : RM280.00
(3) Suzuki Ori (front): RM600.00
(4) Suzuki Ori (rear) : RM380.00

All the best!
