never listen before this noise while shutting off engine...hope others share about this noise...after park your car at home..let the engine idle with air-con turn off..then listen from driver cocpit...i heard thod-thod-thod...every day the sound different..sometimes louder sometimes very mild thod-thod-thod..

is that the valve problem or air intake system not working well.

If you press the acc pedal at 1.0k - 1.5k rpm, the noise gone...only noticeable at idling speed.

Not the aircon compressor..from day 1 the aircon kick in noise is irritating until now.

This is something like air intake system aka IAFM kot !

Btw tomorrow will go PESC to examine by them..hope it is not valvetrain noise...

Another problem happened last weekend , the head lamp trapped moisture when there was slightly raining at about afternoon. Taken photos already...try to claim to SC tomorrow..both light got moisture...how come Stanley Japan Made Headlight got this problem ???

for me it is unacceptable though my old sentra XE'02 never had this mositure trapped . Even my Waja & Produa Kenari also not having this moisture trapped...smething wrong.

You can see I upload the photos...the moment I picked my hphone..the moisture just left a few only...afraid later on ..there will swirl or water mark inside the casing...horrible.

Just taken car from SC, steering noise almost gone. The pwer window nothing to do, standard proton answer. The headlamp is like that...then life is like that.

The engine thod2 still there. They can't find any error code through OBD. But the pick up and response improve the moment going out from SC. Almost reach home...it seems back to square one..

Not satisfied...open hood at home..hearing the thod2 from might be one of vacuum lines or retrun air hose to TB possibly...for sure something to do with air intake system aka IAFM...wonder what Mitsu call it ?

Overall the suspension seems improved when they said replacing and add bush to rear stabilizer bar . Much more stable at MRR2 just now.

Hope to see same performace and driving feel for tomorrow onwards.

Some sort like IAFM kot...just proton make it popular when introduce it to Campro.

I think they adjusted through OBD yesterday, power very smooth and less noise for the engine while accelerate. The thod-thod noise also almost unheard from inside.

Just wonder this morning while playing with the meter cluster info ...any harm to change setting for ALARM from OFF to 1.0s or 2.0s 0r 4.0s as being displayed.
