Hi Fong, welcome welcome welcome. Glad we now got an additional voice. Do give constant feedback.
Today, I drove from ipoh to Shah Alam in heavy rain most of the way. My Actyon feels planted to the road and not a moment of panic. But FC now average 10l/100km for mainly highway driving. Seems to have gone up slightly since the update to the map from around 9.7 or 9.8. Tomorrow going for another service as it is 5000km since the last. Unfortunately have to bring it from Ipoh to KL to do it as Ipoh no authorized SC. Planning to change ATF again as Stanley at USJ claims he has the Fuchs 3292 ATF. Don't feel comfortable with the present ATF from CS 20,000 km ago for good reason but cannot broadcast here.
Hopefully that little lumpiness at around 50 when slowing down will be cured.

Had my ride serviced today at USJ SC. Ask Stanley about ATF change and he told me not needed yet as only 27k plus. Oil and filter changed. Then blow clean the air cleaner. Removed diesel filter and drained to check for water and dirt. Diesel in the filter looks perfectly clear and clean. Refitted it. Complained about the lazy power window. Stanley's boy give the window surround at the two sides a short of a special aerosol lubricant as suspect cause to be friction. Seems to work quieter and move off slightly faster. Total bill RM275/.

Hi bro, your ride is really clocking milleage fast. So is Stanley got the right ATF? What diesel u r using? Seems like not as bad as we think. I m also going there soon for 20k service. Try to troubleshoot the vibration.

using mainly Caltex or Petronas diesel. And every service a treat of Bluechem common rail cleaner. Not a speck of water or dirt! But I always try to chose the more popular stations and avoid early morning refueling and stations in low lying areas which may get flooded.

Did you check with Stanley if other owners also complained about the gb jerking and high FC, also if they do carry the required ATF?

Nope. As for the stock of ATF, I did not see it at his place but on the phone earlier he said he has stock.
The other problem with the high FC is the need to refuel every 450 km or so. The gear shift is not that bad anymore. The 520d also don't have a perfect shift. But 520d refuel only every 900km or so though for about RM20 more.

Just over 1000km since the last service. The torque is really quite addictive. Very torquey and quick acceleration. Seems to be better now than when newer. Engine must be loosening up. But FC about the same around 10L/100km for 80% HW and 20% town. My brother's ride only done 10k so far. But since the update, he is now getting between 8-9L/100km for long distance HW driving. This is a great improvement to pre-update. Wonder why mine has higher FC?
The gearshift is quite acceptable. Even the 520d gearshift has a slight lumpiness at times. So only major issue is th FC now.
Power window now works well after the lug job at Stanley's.

Maybe you can switch car with your brother to test drive for several days to see if the FC is related to driver or purely on the engine performance difference.

No need la. Before update his FC was higher than mine. Also when I drove to and from K.l., I was so gentle keeping to the speed limit most times with auto cruise on and in ECO mode. Still can't bring the average FC below 10L/100km. Now it is showing 10.4. Before update mine often come down to around 9.7. Since update not seen this reading.
