Hi,

I planning to getting newly launched Citroen DS 4,

However, just worried about after sale service and spare part issues.

Can anyone here advice?

Also, do you think it is worth for the manual version?

(RM 160K, 200HP)

for 160k for 200hp!!! 200! It's damn worth it...think about the rivals...VW scirocco 1.4, golf 1.4....scirocco is >20k more expensive...yet only 155 hp? and cloth seats.....the upcoming alfa giulietta will be 178k...but interior finish i still think citroen will be better...it is damn worth it....again its from my point of view....if you worry about resale value then look away...

Thank u so much Chua & Cheong,

Appreciate yours comments,

I didn't actually worried too much about the resale value,

My only concerned is the after sales service & availability of parts just in case anything happen.

Anyhow, I also realized that this is the risk that I have to take if choose Citroen...

Give me a shout bro if you plan to sell your ds4 2012. Just don't leave 'diapers ' so long in your car and maintain your car as recommended no compromise

My 9 years old C3 still easily serviceable with ready parts from Brooklands, thus I believe it is never a problem with brand new car as long as Citroen is represented in Malaysia. Just hope it will not end up like Fiat.

in April 1994, exactly 18 years ago I bought the 1.9i ZX, in 2002 I bought a 1.4 Berlingo. I still have my Berlingo with 270,000 kms on it. The ZX went past 300,000 kms. I too, have just booked a 6-Speed Manual DS4 200HP!. The Spirit lives on.

How long the waiting period.
To my understanding, 1st batch sold off & 2nd batch with limited unit available.
Not sure about third batch.

When I checked last month they had a few units (not sure if Manual though) , and I thought they were available immediately if not fussy about the colour. They are doing my booking today, estimated around July arrival. 3 months??? That is a long time but I guess I can save more for a bigger downpayment. I get to choose colour. Blue is out as my kids said no more blue cars. Black needs to be washed regularly, so I am still thinking about a colour.
