but you are not going to sell it today or tomorrow - so let tomorrow come only think lor.... and it is at 1/2 the price of other same categories, good buy I think somemore Mit 2.4 engine!!!

I buy cars never think about the depreciation and even my own family members also complaint talk alots about depreciation, expensive maintainance and not much on the road this type of cars and etc......but when they drive they dont complaint! and start saying this car good and better. So if discuss with them no need to buy, so just buy and drive back and prepared to sleep in the hall sofa for 1 night (next day = OK) when she start driving it ahahahah - wife kick me out mahhhh hahahaha - always complaints ask you dont buy you buy!!!! always this words same same when I say C4 good buy?

You are right, I was calculating the loss in RM then in percentage.
MY China SUV cost RM80k, the CRV RM160k. In 5 years the Honda may sell at RM80k, so the lost is my whole SUV..... smile_tongue.gif Not to mention the extra loan I need to take and interest lost....... smile_wink.gif

Oh! mine is the new model with the China twin cam engine already. The 4G63 2.4 single cam Mitsu engine is very old already.

wow, very good accountant, some more twin cam wor!!! So CRV also drive - cherry also drive (a little shorter only wor!) But you like drive for free against CRV if you count like this hahahahha. if just for normal use why not? not for the track but for you one good old and strong race horse is more than enough!!!
Since CRV lost 80k - you lost 100% on the Cherry - still win 80k!!!! So good deal for Cherry too or the but now got the P1 mpv with turbo, maybe it is a better bet?

Actually was looking at the MPV in the first place and this ride is for wifey. Tried the Alza, too small and test car was not good, had bad rattle in the rears. Then went on to Exora. Almost good, except don't like middle seats, rear drum brakes and too soft the door panel (My daughter was leaning against the car door and it plop it).
Then mechanic informed to try the Eastar, but told him I don't want a 2.4 where the road tax is too high, so he mention heard that the China twin cam 2.0 will be coming (that was 2 years ago). So we waited and when it came went for test drive. Since we were going to keep it for a while, cheapest price will be best, so not to worry above depreciation..... smile_tongue.gif
After a few tests (yup, we actually tried a few times), there was a vibration on the accelerator pedal and finally after a cooling off period daughter ask wife to try the SUV which she fell in love with. And that is how it came about getting the Cherry Tiggo..... smile_wink.gif

Not really woh! Chery Eastar now selling quite fast. Service is for all Chery cars, not only SUV. Service also needs appointment, but so far quite good. When ready they take the trouble to call. I remember my colleague service the Bestari and Honda CT, every time got to call them ask whether ready or not...... smile_tongue.gif
