Kia Forte being sold as NAZA Forte here mainly to enjoy the additional tax exemption. People changed the external logo back to Kia is normal. Do you have problem at that? KIA logo selling at RM70 and many buying, that is good. The brand logo itself proven that it has more value than Neesan or Nismo logo that could hardly sell that your company is giving free as compliment in buying Sentara.

From your statement, Naza is cheating the government by rebadging. Why would I have a problem with that? People can actually have more choices instead of being stucked with the national cars. Only Mahathir would be very sore about this. But everybody knows what is behind the scene. But, I hope someone from the Ministry of Finance is seeing this. Here's the theory: Kia logo needs to sell so cheap because that is the only value it can fetch in the market!!! At this moment, it is RM70. I don't think I want to teach you basic economics here. If it it is priced at RM300, who the hell want to buy thatlah.....

It's good that you say that. My point of view ONLY MATTERS when it's a fact and is directed particularly at jayraptor. By the way, it's not for your consumption. You can always choose to ignore them.

You must be out of your mind! Who is controlling your freedom of speech? You can talk anything you like. But what matters is how many people will want to believe you. smile_tongue.gif We are just correcting your fictional stories. I think I have enough nonsense about used cars from you. Don't worry about this. Those who are looking forward to buy vehicles will definitely check their values at the used car yard to verify your claims (so, don't waste your time concocting stories) smile_tongue.gif

Miki Mao,

Which part fictional, wanted to check resale value, take the price the used car owner pay to buy the car. If you take the price you get conned by used car dealer that will be the dumbest thing you'll do. No wonder you don't know anything about cars despite being marketing staff.

Yes about tax reduction, don't have to be angry with NAZA reducing the price of Forte. You can always suggest to your boss to rename your N brand to NeeSun to reduce selling price. The name Sylphy can be renamed to MikiMao to reduce selling price further. No problem.

Hi Darrel,

It is obvious that MikiMao & his gang members that could not accept others comments on facts of their products' major technical flaws. He has not replied with facts so far, just blasted with diversion story. What would you do if you were the owner of the product that he is selling and reported problem here getting blasted just because they wanted to cover up. Also, these guys are preventing information from flowing to the actual carmakers. Do you just keep quiet and absorb the loss yourself? This forum is your only place to voice out forcing the carmaker to get your attention.

Good job byebye2u smile_thumbup.gif This is a good proof to show how VALUABLE are the Forte. I can imagine sinkalen jayraptor is now biting his fingers out of frustration. Considering the used vehicle dealer is making RM2K to RM3K, the Forte lost 16%-17% per year (based on the 1 year old 1.6SX Forte). Depreciation for the 2.0SX is roughly 23% per year(referring to the post). New car price for the 1.6SX is RM85,800 & 2.0SX is RM97,800. Perhaps RM2K lesser for the 4AT version. Whether this is good, I'll leave it to the forummers to evaluate themselves 059.gif Otherwise, the sinka will say I cucuk him. laugh.gif

Will not comment on the Latio as I don't own it. Neither it's my business unlike the sinka who thought he knows so much about the Sylphy. smile_cool.gif

I agree with you 200% on this. The forum should be a place to share information and to help forummers informed of their vehicles. smile_approve.gif But it's also a place for us to reveal the ugly heads of some forummers who abuse the forum for their personal gain like the sinka jayraptor. I don't think I need to say much about him because he's basically everywhere talking about the same thing and doesn't need a smart person to judge on his intention.

I definitely welcome information which is accurate and without malicios intent. I am only against the sinka jayraptor because he has been providing too much misleading information. The forum is not a place to make sales but to keep the public as well as manufacturers informed so appropriate action could be taken for the benefit of all.

Sinka jayraptor.

If it is only your personal opinion, then say so. We will respect that and remember, personal opinion doesn't make it a fact.

Yes, thanks to byebye for the links. Before you jump to conclusion, check these for 1 year old cars especially when there are smaller engines variants available:

>> Used Camry 2.4 will have to sell lower than new Camry 2.0 low spec
>> used Civic 2.0 will have to sell lower than new Civic 1.8 low spec
>> Used Teana 2.5 will have to sell lower than new Teana 2.0 low spec
>> Used Altis 1.8 will have to sell lower than new Altis 1.6 low spec
>> Used Forte 2.0 too will have to sell lower than new Forte 1.6 low spec

This is the way how things work. Besides, used car dealers won't dare to sell Forte at cut throat price yet to check response. The price of Latio shown, those are cut throat price aimed to con water fish.

Why not you try to check how long will these Latios and Fortes take to get buyers at what price. Also, how much will these cars fetch when paid by new 2nd hand owners. You will see the Latio waiting at the yard and sold off at much lower price. already done survey. The Forte will be sold off sooner and best thing is those who can't afford the brand new Forte would have a chance to buy at reasonable price.

There are many Forte 4AT owners sold off their rides just because they wanted to go for the 6-speed version since the depreciation level is acceptable. Normal, when there are more stuffs in newer batch, they don't mind absorb the little depreciation.

Haha, then you are the water fish lor, bought the Forte already and found it isn't your expectation, so now want to pull more people to follow you to prove that you are not the only water fish to buy Forte. My neighbor, a few houses from my house got one white color Forte year 2010, want to let go, he wants to get Teana 2.5 and Tan Chong asked him to sell it on his own is better to get higher price, went to Toyota, same replied from Toyota and again went to Honda, but Honda only willing to trade his Forte for Accord 2.4 with a price around RM55k only. Today went to a few used car dealer, the price is just damn low, got one dealer near old klang road give RM56k, so went to puchong and the highest he can get is RM63k, so this is what you call good resale value? We just for next year, according to him, a few of the used car dealer told him next year Forte value will suffer more because too many Forte are trading in for Japanese car due to some reasons, what is the reason, sorry I don't know.

feelfree,

Pull what fish? The 4-speed gearbox is already proven reliable and besides, having 4-speed gearbox won't cause accident or engine blown like those N brand models that are experiencing.

Again, don't know how to read and understand my comment? Used car dealer always cheat owners as usual, try to con your neighbour's Forte at cheap price then will sell at much higher price. Check how much will the Forte be sold to another owner, the price is at healthy depreciation level.

At least depreciation rate for 1 year old used Forte is good and yet, you won't see them sitting at used car dealer yard for long due to high demand from those who could not afford brand new. Sylphy 2010 when new at RM120k, now selling at less than RM85k, negotiable some more yet so many Sylphy piling up at the used car yard so long before can dispose off. Do you know that I could buy a 1 year old Sylphy right now at a price cheaper than a Forte 1.6?
