It started as a spark. And that spark became a flame of passion. Out of love for the Beautiful Machine that is the Chevrolet Captiva, we found comrades who share the same passion and, like how birds of a feather flock together, we gathered to form The Captivians.
We Captivians have become the Voice of Captiva owners in Malaysia. We represent a united front as we share many ideals and speak with singular authority. With this front, we have thus established a close working relationship with the sole distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in Malaysia – Hicom-Chevrolet, and Cergazam, their main dealer. Together with these 2 principals, we are planning events for now, and the future – convoys, treasure hunts, off-road excursions and so on. But, our main aim as the Voice of Captiva owners is not just limited to organizing social events…. We are very concerned with resolving issues pertaining to car manufacturing standards, and also the quality of after-sales services. With Hicom-Chevrolet and Cergazam, we have managed to address issues which have been outstanding throughout our ownership of this Beautiful Machine.

I think many will jump over. Their forum script is really outdated and lack of features. The forum script here is one of the best.

But now only Tazztham and r3xt0n are here? Where are the rest of our Captivians?
Prez, vice prez, sexitary, and etc...................
Look like Chips gave up in MTM from the way he expressed by saying that we can leave as we like - but it is really hard to navigate there - same including many other forumers. very very quiet there now.

BTW, anything in the planning now? Probably can post follow up message, map (yes, we allow images in the forum postings) or call for TT, etc...
All are welcomed

HI Jamie, thanks for your latest information. ACtually, I didn't know that AW has a Captiva forum, I thot it's under the Chevy's forum, until I ter accidental scrool down & found it.
I did go into the Captivian's website, but to my disappointment, it's not an updated website, latest still in 2009, where, MTM's forum have more infor compare to it's website. I sincerely hope that the website is updated, say every 2-3 months, so that we know what's the lastest happening with Captivians.
Cheers.

just to make it clear...i am not a Captivian but a fan of Captiva...hahaha. i guess it is not about forum platform anymore. all captivian just too busy to get together here or even in MTM. they are all running out of 'energy' to share or talk about it. it is normal.

MT is real slow and not only for Captivians, other forumers are also not going there! look at how many postings there per day/ month It a big flock after their new format! Have wrote to inquire but look like they are also not too interested to care and reply with a careless reply - the "tai kor" there is so arrogant with his "take it or leave it reply" so we just leave it them! maybe he is waiting for his retirement or just cant do anything more due to the system and even ask me to go to other sites at my wish (most probably here in AW) taking a 100% control over MT as MT really look like they have given up then!
My last posting in their MT for a 2007 car for sale, received not a single call inquiry!!! big difference from last 2 yrs ago.
