Hi guys,

Help!

Does anyone know where can get the Mazda 6 2.3L 5-speed ATF Type M-V? Note this is NOT the same as Mercon V which every other spare part shops seems to say it is, see the link below:

Am planning to do a transmission flush soon, would like to get the right ATF fluids.

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks William, I didn't know Bermaz brought in the Mazda branded M-V ATF, as during my car's last ATF change, they used Bardahl which I'm not keen on.

I've just checked with Bermaz, the Mazda brand ATF M-V is quite pricey, RM 41 per litre. Now have to consider whether to get this or maybe AMSOIL or MOBIL since the price per lt is not far.

Thanks again...

You can check with Ford Malaysia. I used to get my Mercon V ATF from them about RM21 per bottle

When replaced ATF and ATF strainer on 100k km, need about 8 liters.

Bermaz workshop used specific Mazda blended ATF from Japan for Mazda vehicle, so don't have to get outsourced ATF.
