New car sales based on 'Total Numbers of New Registered Vehicles'. So I'll conclude that it's included with the re-cond cars, if they've not been registered.

in this case, the figure is nor representative.
and how cud BMW or Benz claimed that they fare very well in 2009 if there are so many recond cars on the road??
furthermore the numbers are not correct as recond car is half the price of new car.. the statistic will give a wrong signal that more people can afford to buy BMW/Benz due to good economy etc. it is very misleading if one buy a recond BMW instead of a new Camry/Accord 2.4 which is at same price.
I think the statistic shud refer to new cars not recond...
