and how do i know if it has really been applied? For all i know, the salesman bs me.i buta-buta sign diamondbrite guarantee card.
I saw most benz will undergoes some polish/wax 1st, then apply this DiamondBrite using sponge layer by layer and let it cured. Need 4-6 hours to cured.
After that the car will look very shiny, but very rough to touch on. And there's a bottle of solution comes with DiamondBrite that need to apply monthly after wash. Just dilute capfull of the solution into 1L of water then uses sponge to apply all paint area then let it cured again. One bottle enough for 12 application. Following year need to buy it at RM100+ per bottle.
Some Benz did not do when hand over of vehicle. They come back after few months to do, so the paint condition might not be perfect when apply DiamondBrite. My.ex-CCB colleagues even sold it to some BMW's owner. It's very very weird to see 5-Series/7-Series inside CCB workshop surrounded by MB.

so basically, i wont know if it has been applied la. other than rough feeling texture. but the car has been washed few times before elivery, so the rough feeling might have gotten less already. but it does feel like the car needs a clay. is that kind of feeling means diamondbrite has been applied or just not cared paint?
yeah, i was told the following year, diamondbrite 'maintenance solution' cost is that much.
i just take it at face value that it was done before delivery then.
think i'll pay a visit to the diamondbrite shop/factory at glenmarie.

dschia,
which website? can post here? been looking on the web for info, but not much can be found.
up to now, what i've found is that this diamondbrite is a glaze but rock-hard glaze last 6 years. and whatever swirls, holo that is under it, will be sealed permanently (at least 6 years until this diamondbrite goes).
rock got oil meh? that's what the brochure says.

Yup those guys are the main dealer for this region...someone should ask them how much they actually know about these products (besides the margin it will generate) and I guarantee you you'll be surprised with their answers! They tried to make a presentation to me to carry their products some years back and I lost interest 3mins into the bs session...went down to see their 'technicians' coat the products onto a VW Beetle...me and my assistant laughed out so loud those guys get so p*ssed off & redo the entire work again...presentatin ended...time wasted...end of story!!!
