Allo friend. If you have an accident and can't get out of your car, and it is on fire, what's the use of it being in the boot? Please keep it within reach of the driver. Under seat tray would be best but at worst, should be in the glove box. bek075.gif

I prepare it to save others.

If my car explode wihile driving where got time to grab the fire extinguisher and spray onto myself?
Ram me if you can!

If I was trapped in my car and there's a fire, my 1st priority is to get out rather than fight the fire first. Flee first then fight later. You could lose precious moments fighting the fire 1st which you may not win with your small glovebox fire extinguisher.

I think he's keeping it in the boot to be a good Samaritan, to help other people's car on fire smile.gif

I think it's better to have a device to break the window to escape first then later think about a fire extinguisher if own safety is priority.

I got an easily reacheable weapon that is legal to have it by side, can use to break my glass when emergency. smile_approve.gif

Just to revive this thread as I think one accident happened again and people burnt alive beyond recognition.

I am planning to buy this aerosol type of FE.

Is it suitable if anyone has any idea? I saw it can be used for cars but whether to keep it in Malaysia's hot weather.... will it explode?

My car sunburns everyday

if u have a foam 500 ml extingusher that good. but it only apply of fire came from normal fabric paper or wood but for other such as gas muten in your kitcen ..electric fire or petrol disel flameable liquid the foam fire extingusher normaly 500 failed or cannot put out that kind of fire. so it need to have a dry powder normaly they call it abc fire extingusher 1kg..is good enough to put down all kind of fire execept high presure metal fire whicc course from heavy industrial activity such as welding or boiler or any high presure...fire.

i have reaserch some of the capabality of abc dry powder design criteria such as...how high can the fire extingusher storage temp...its it a dry powder can operate in cold temp..or some other that industries didnt tell you..
