This mornings chaos at the Ampang Point slip road from MRR2 was caused by a unique traffic diversion by the cops to ease traffic flow! I know these cops are probably just following orders from some numbskull at police traffic HQ (let's hope so), but really they could spot the chaos they were creating by closing all the exits roads and u turns in that way, diverting all traffic onto Ampang Jaya. People were getting angry. Fortunate that a driver in front got out and just moved all the barriers and we drove away at the u turn back towards the Zoo.
For any cops out there reading this....DO NOT BLOCK OFF ROADS, the key to easing traffic congestion is dispersal, not bottlenecking everything into one way only. smile_tongue.gif

This very simple dose of common sense is notably missing in the management of traffic flow in this country.

and when they conduct roadblocks, always close other lane and keep only lane open... why can't they check cars on all lanes like how they do elsewhere? there's always one cop checking while others just looking anyway
