of course it is legal if it is genuine. It is cheaper. The concern is more on fake AP since previously there were significant number of fake APs were from Sarawak.

i see. thanks for clearing this up. so no harm la if i get it from the AP holder (not dealer). This holder is happened to be PEKEMA member.. guess it's safe.

One forumer here mentioned Sarawak AP car gets less amount of loan compared to West Malaysia AP car. No idea how true is that.

nope. My estima is using Sabah AP and registered in KL with WSNXXXX registration number.

Not true. As far as I know the amount of loan depending on your financial risk profile, and the year of the car is manufactured declared in the AP. It does not depend on the AP... In my case I got mre than 100% loan (got some spare change).

I even got my care from dealer and not from AP holder itself. The AP holder has no showroom in peninsular and only has a storage area only in KL.

If that's the case, what shall we do to/ how to verify the AP when we're buying recond imported cars? How to check?
