Bro, any updates on this??

Did not have any black and white so far. But yesterday went to get my key and 10k service and was talking to another SA .. say the same thing ...
so i guess I just follow only. Anyhow .. v-power does not gives any advantage and pricey .. so I'll leave it that way ...

I've never tried V-Power on my 308. However, I agree that it does not give any added advantage in power or FC. Hence, we have to pay so much more for it.
Since we do not have any B/W from Nasim, it will still be good to avoid using V Power, just in case.
Thanks BEHCW for the note!

Please ask your SM to faster give us black and white about this.... talking is no point!! (Then you will know what i can do with the black and white! hehe!)

If got black & white... Prepare for 'retaliation' from Shell. Such big brand wont allow 'anything' to jeopardize their corporate brand. Black & White without proper support especially engineering support will create more 'damage'; ...

I have a question. First of all... what problems occur when pumped V-Power? I have gone thru the thread couple of times, but have not seen any specific problem related to pumping V-Power... 689.gif smile_question.gif

1. Everything is still hear talk only.
2. Quite frankly, I don't believe this statement. Shell would stand firm that their fuel is safe to be used in any car. Moreover, high powered turbo vehicles.
3. The Sales Manager won't have proof either, and wouldn't dare to challenge his statement without proper proven facts.
4. However, personally, I think V-Power doesn't give value for what it claims and for the price that we have to pay for. So, I won't use it anyway.

ahh... we share the same thoughts. but seems like a lot of ppl claim v-power is not good for 308 and will void warranty. i'm just curious on the basis of the claim(s)... like how is it not good? v-power clog up fuel injector? v-power makes power steering heavier? v-power gives life to the 308 and become a transformer? =/ to clear my name... i don't pump v-power. tongue.gif

well hopefully they won't see this. I use once and there are no difference except you pay more ...
Anyhow, it's not gonna turn the THP into a GT using it .. so why bother ..

But additive problem to injectors and sensors .. probably may happen since i believe they won't simply restrict without any incident.

perhaps the additives or its by-products somewhat harm engine parts, e.g. the many sensors, cat filter.
maybe its cleaning properties / additives are a little too abrasive?

btw, imo.. V-power not worth the extra money. i just use it once in a blue moon to 'cleanse' the engine (when going for a long trip).

to cleanse the engine no need to used V-power......... normal fuel is already good enough ........ tapi nak test power once in awhile should be ok..... but still to me the exta we spend .........will give more Km with Ron97/95/92.....
