It has been a crazy month in the industry, as all the players are rushing their events and launches to conclude before the puasa month. This one week represented my biggest output thus far, of 11 articles. I hope there isn't any loss in quality!

Next Week..

Is going to be just as packed. Hyundai has scheduled a media test drive session for the i30, but don't expect a detailed report from there. The norm with these media test drive events is that because everyone wants time with the car, no one actually has enough time for a verdict. I will give some preliminary impressions at most. We're looking to arrange for a longer term test car from Hyundai.

I can also tell you that a new Alfa is coming next week.

I've saved 'em up. Things will be better if you could include the specs as well. I like the part on the 2-point lap seat belt minus factor. So nice that you get into both cars. During roadshows, both cars were locked up and the windscreens are quite darkly tinted causing reflection that many can't even see through the windscreen clearly.

Every time when close to any celebration, they'll be lots of activities amongst car companies especially Raya Promotion Lately offering gifts and discounts. Plus, some would shop for cars for nice balik kampung trip.

I didn't get a complete set of the specifications, but I didn't feel I need to, as we won't be seeing these cars on the road anyway. The whole idea was to convey how much Hyundai has improved as a manufacturer since say 5-10 years ago.

I must say I was pretty impressed with the interior of both cars. Hyundai has really been stepping up their game. They're not kidding about aiming to be among the top manufacturers.

The only disappointing thing was that the cars were not shown under very good lighting, making it very tricky for us to take good pics of the car.

Yeah, we haven't been getting any announcement of such promos to be disseminated, but we will be keeping our eyes and ears open.

I recently received this comment on an article in the Blog. It was my article on the Mustang Customizer site.

I have to admit that this comment was quite a slap in my face, as it serves to remind me on how much I still have to learn in my journey as a writer.

On reflection, I must admit that the errors I committed in the article were very basic & amateurish, and could have been avoided with deeper research.

It is quite tempting to use excuses like 'lacking experience', or 'even the best make mistakes', but deep inside I feel that basic factual errors cannot be deemed acceptable, new or not.

But, what's done is done. All I can do now is to work harder and ensure such a mistake would not be repeated again. smile_approve.gif

At has been a quiet week in terms of activities. Most of my time for the week has been in the office, publishing press releases in our Blog section. The break in activity has freed up some time for me to bring some international content as well, which I was originally doing, and hope to continue to do on a more regular basis.

Bro, I was looking back at my earlier works with another monitor, and I see what you mean.

The photos for the Lancer write-up looked fine in my laptop and also my office desktop, but now I come to view it from my home PC, I see that a few of the pics from this write-up, and also the Accord 2.0 VTi-L launch were quite badly under-exposed.

Are you are referring to the Nikon D60? This is a Good camera..... smile_thumbup.gif
The photo of the Grandis with the bumpers brighter is because of your internal flash. This flash can only light up a certain area, this being the bumper area.
You will now need an external flash with a diffuser. I have took some photos with a D70 at a friend's wedding, with internal flash, external flash, and External flash with diffuser.
The internal flash photos came out like your photos, with external flash the whole picture is brighter but there is still the problem with the brighter center spot, but with the diffuser I would say it is near perfect.
So as you mentioned, that is your next target....... smile_tongue.gif
