Got mine from E-bay .. shipped from UK .. forgot how much exactly but just slightly less then RM300 with some spares after conversion to pound plus shipping.

I just sent for 10k service, didn't bother to remove also ... anyhow they didn't open the filter for cleaning. I clean it myself after I get home.

Not really if you got the right tools. A ratchet torx driver is a must. And u need to open the manifold joints to the filter to comfortly slit out the air filter cover. Will post at my blog on this.

The first time i did took me 1/2 hours ..cos have to figure out how to do it. Now, only 3 minutes.

Decided to try BHP for my current tank...after about 200km...here are some early feedback..

- engine seems less noisy at mid-high revs (>3.5k), the tone/pitch is somehow lower as compared to mobil & shell..
- FC seems to suffer a bit but not much...will know this once I finish this tank...do another full tank and avg it out..
- power wise...very slight improvement...but i guess this varies for each person

so has anyone tried RON95 yet? I foresee that my next pump will be sometime later this week...so I'll still get to enjoy another 'cheap' tank of RON97 smile_tongue.gif

I've use Shell RON 95 and Petronas Ron 95. Don't think any difference. Don't hear any "knocking" sound. Is the knocking sound suppose to be very easy identify?

New engines, you won't hear knocking at all cos they have knock sensors inside ..and the ECU will retard the timing of the engine to suit the RON95.. hence less power .. it will still be smooth but less pow only.
