I thought the best anti theft device is cash $$. Just pay for taxi. If you
don't have a car, how the thief can steal it? Other benefits like driver
serviced, no parking fee, no maintenance cost and etc.

No longer true. Without a car, inconviniency is a problem, worse is you
are open to robbery, snatch thief or even taxi driver with bad intention.
Tell me do you dare to enter stranger's car or not? This is exactly like
taking a taxi to me.

1. There is no inconvinience if you have proper time management. 2. When
you go to the car park to collect your own car, you are open to robbery.
3. You are sitting at the back and the driver in front. If something not
right, just pull out something from your bag Evil or poke his eyes when
he is driving. The cost of using taxi probably will be cheaper the cost of
owning a car. Some more not necessory need to take taxi everytime.
Sometime can tumpang people or take LRT.
Malangsia is not like Papua New Guinea yet. Still ok. No point to have
extra worries.

1. Welcome to Penang, we have a true efficient transport system here
whereby taxi don`t use meter, bus run not according to schedule and etc.
No matter how proper you manage your time, you will sure to miss your
schedule.
2. Agreed but the exposure is way shorter than you way your way to bus
station. Snatch theives are running at large here, better not take the
risk.
3. Theoratically can work but in practical it won`t. Don`t believe me? Go
ask the victim. Most probably he won`t rob you single handedly but with
others disguise as passenger.

The cost may be cheaper in KL but not in Penang. Running without meter
you
can be charge with cut throat rate.
