You mean whole car vibrate or engine vibrate? Maybe engine mounting have
problem and cause your car vibrate.

could also be a clog in the fuel line/injectors, lack of fuel will cause
the engine to vibrate as well.

I think you better go to the tyre shop and tell them your story about the
vibration at 80kmh 2200 rpm, and you suspect may be the drive shaft
problem, ask them to check.

Cheers!

Sounds more like a wheel balancing issue to me.. are you rolling on standard rims or sports rims?

Following are the possible causes:

1) Wobbly rims
2) Tire uneven wear
3) Tire swollen

Try to check the tire condition and do wheel balancing....

Broken driveshaft normally vibrates your car under acceleration, not when cruising. Try to free your gear at 80km/hr and see if it still vibrates. If it does, the wheels is the problem...

Agreed...if vibrate when accelerating most prob yr drive shaft.....My car got that vibration prob when accelerating from 80 to 110kph, change the drive shaft and prob solved....no more vibration

Nope! all ok but still vibrates. its not like a bengkok rim or anything that feels like that. feels like the engine is not held on properly but i have changed all mountings too... drive shaft is ok according to the technician.

I have the exact same problem, it only vibrates when it shifts from 3de to 4th which normally happens at 80 kmh...I have send my car back to the dealer to check, they call it " shift shock" they made adjustments, made the car better for a wile but 2 months latter had the same problem. I think it is a gearbox problem, computer software, the computer it self or some thing electronic. I have found that you can push throw the vibration by accelerating slightly. I have all so find that some times the gear gets stuck in 3de or 4th when you stop at a light or roundabout and the car stalls when you pull away this is dangers and only happened to me 3 times... The biggest problem is that this only happens some times or most of the time, but not every single time. it is not the tigers because the vibration stops as soon as the 4th gear engage.

The other thing I have found is that the intensity of the vibration gets worse offer time, I have had the car at the dealer 4 times now with the same problem, sending it back for the 5th this week. Maybe 5 is charm?

someone mentioned that they have done their mounting before, was it on the 1.6, could you point me to where the RH mount is ? the part that looks like a rod with 2 joints in the end (1 bigger 1 smaller) my mechanic can't find the location for it.
