Sorry to hear about your incidence...where do you stay? Is there any
neighborhood watch?

golddigger - if u wanna test your immo, goto the SC and ask them to reset
the immo on the ECU/ECM. then try using your key to start the engine. the
engine will not fire up. after that, ask them to pgram back the ECU/ECM
with your ori keys.
i;ve tested this on my Optra....accidentally though. The SC somehow reset
the immo and took them 30mins to figure how to reprogram it back.

Tested mine when I took ownership of the car. And it works on the driver
side. Must try on the passenger side tonight though to make sure it works.
Another good feature is that the window will wind up automatically when
you on your car alarm. Anybody tried this b4? This prevent us from
accidentally leaving the window wind down.

Auto wind-up - does it works if alarm is armed using the remote? Mine
only works with key, not with remote.

Something has gone wrong with my security/alarm system.
1. Now the motion sensor becomes too sensitive. When alarm is activated
and window wind-down, alarm will trigger when I walk by the open window.
Previously, it only triggers when I put my hand in.
2. Now I can open the door from inside when the doors are central locked
or alarm activated.
It started after I sent to SC to repair my faulty motion sensor. Will
resetting the ECU/ECM help?

golddigger,
do you pressed twice on the remote key? If you press once, you still can
open the door from inside.
