I notice the motion sensor in the car only detects at passenger area and
not at driver side. The right hand sensor (near the reading lamps)
doesn't seem to be working.

What about you guys?

Try this.

Sit in the car passenger side. Press lock button twice. After 10 sec the
alarm triggers. Deactivate alarm. Then sit in the driver side. Press lock
button twice. After 10 sec nothing happens.

Mine tested on driver side okay.....done months ago.Just put my hand
into the car..I was standing outside...alarm came on immediately.Maybe
your r/h sensor faulty. There is a printed circuit board behind the
light.Maybe need to chg the whole unit if faulty.

Mine also OK. Tested months ago and again last week. Still OK. You should
get your sensors checked.

Wah! like this I have to check every system whether working or not.

The alarm system also monitors vehicle tilt. Key es and ZulHadi, have you
test tilt sensor? I mean not manually by hand (unless you are superman)
but by tow truck may be.

Not quite sure but it is in the manual page 58. I type it..

Anti-theft alarm system*
The system monitors
- doors, tailgate, engine hood
- the passenger compartment
- the vehicle tilt
- the ignition

Guys guys.....

About this anti theft thing.
Anyone want to steal something in the car can always break into it.
The thing is to maintain dark interior or to cover so people don't see it.

Immobilizer etc is not really necessary, I think.
Unless the person has the original car keys, there is no way he can drive
off with your Nabira. Why don't u try to duplicate your keys and start
your engine with it. The engine will die off within 5 seconds.

There is a chip in the key that recognise the original. SO, if u need to
make a spare one, u need to go back to the agent. They require chassis
no. to programme into the chip (key). And one key is expensive. The "tepi
jalan" spare key is good to lock and unlock your car only.

Has anyone upgrade the locking system? I'm considering to install
autolock (the one that automatically lock when u depress brake pedal &
release handbrake) so the doors will be in locked position all the times.
I once had an experience where a mugger tried to enter my car but
fortunately the doors were lock.

Will this affect the warranty?
