Pity the early birds who bought the Lancer.. all the units are CBU so do
expect your car to have served its 'National Service" in the form of
belasah during test drives as described in this forum.. before it was
finally registered and delivered to you.

the ones that are test drive units will stay as test drive units until the
end of the year, well after the delivery of the first batch. Or the second
batch. Or until next year.

aredy,
trade-in value very low. one dealer said 52k and another said 62k.
looks like i can't afford it and will just have to stick to my GLX and be
happy with it. God has blessed me with the GLX and i should be very
thankful. maybe in years to come, i might change my car and i'm sure
there will be better models from mitsu.

fretsurf,
the place I visited - EON Prai - had one red Lancer on display. The car
had a notice that read: No more test drives, please contact # xxx XXXXXXX
to make arrangements. Apparently the car had found a buyer so no more test
drives!

What do you make of that?

lancerbm,
myself also driving 'clone mitsu' and the resale value also not very good
ler. Offered me 29k and perhaps can go up to 32k if really want.. so let
me use this car till koyak then like u said, there might be better models
from mitsu later on at better prices to do justice to our hard earned
dough..

Mean,

I dont know. I dont work in that showroom. Probably isolated case. Probably
some guy wants a red lancer (they're out of reds already) quickly that he'd
buy the test drive unit. So, more exception to the rule I guess.

by mean you will have the right to reject the car if you find that it is
test drive car. As most of the milleage in the new car is less than 10KM.
