Hi there,

I just got a Alfa156 02/04 recently, any idea where is the best workshop
to go for servicing/maintenance (in kl/pj) at a reasonable price ?

try Goodwork Auto at 03 77811143 or Fresh Tools at 012 6718027 (Dino).
Other workshops I am not too sure but I have been to these two and they
are quite reliable.

Servicing alfa need special skills and tools. Try HHK, USJ or mega auto,
kuchai. They keep a wide selections of parts have the necessary computer
diagnostic tools. Charges are very reasonable too. Watch up for your
timing belt and selespeed.

lls, Are you suggesting we do not have the skills or tools to service
Alfa's?

Check http://www.italiaaut...opic.php?t=3816 to hear what
Alfa owners that have had their car serviced by us have to say.

Anyhow we do not do major mechanical repair.. for that, then yes you will
need a specialized repair shop .. we do not do it for Alfa's or any makes
for that matter.. we do specialized and professional maintenance to help
you avoid major mechanical repair, while keeping your Bella in tip top
performance.

In any case be careful of some of these Alfa "experts" .. I have pulled
1.2 liters overfill of oil out of one 156 and .8 liters overfill from
anther 156 in the same day.. they were previously getting served by 2
different "Alfa specialists".

Peace,
Autochild

No offends, none of us operating an workshop like you do. We are just
regular car owners.
Obviously your comments will be bias. Not fair to put others down as they
are not here to defends themself. Moreover, anyone can make any wild
claims without presenting prove. If you wanna respect, you have to earn
it.
Checking thru' your threads, there seems to be some complaints on your
workshop and service too. You seems to be all over the forum pushing your
services. Again, i am not here to comment on that.

Perhaps, you ought to stick the subject at hand rather than promoting
your workshop. so, we won't have this problems of conflict of interest.
We can discuss the subject in neutral manner.

Yes offended, read the name of this thread and what the originater is
asking for.. place to service his Alfa.. this is on subject.. no one is
outa line here except you.

Who defending who? I did not say any workshop in particular.. come to
think of it each week I pull about 7 liters of excess oil out of cars
from various makes .. it is just a plain fact as is the "little more oil
better can" Malaysia mechanic attitude.. live with it.

Yeah I am all over this forum.. and yeah I'm pushing my workshop.. no
conflict of interest here.. the workshop is where I can put my money were
my mouth is.. and where I can really help car owners.. not just talk
about it..

Compaints.. ok dude.. there have been over a hundred reviews on our shop
from journalists to customers .. 99% have been in great favour of our
services.. you do the math.

And you obviously are here to comment off subject.. and you obviously
must be biased and you seem to have some conflict of interest.. or else
you wouldn't post up like such a jerk.

I have not been posting for a long time...but looking at the manner which
autochild responded here...they are an Arrogant bunch! Having an attitude
problem I suppose....I won't want such an attitude to be working on my
car..even how good they are!

Good please stay away, we are doing fine without the likes of people like
you who obviously can not read, can not reason and can not understand.

The only attitude that’s offensive is yours, but ok if you guys enjoy
making fools out of yourselves.. carry on..

I can see why the majority Alfa enthusiasts have all left this forum for
greener pastures..

Hi kenzie,

Is your bella a selespeed 2.0 liter TS or the auto 2.5 V6?

If it's the Selespeed, work on the actuators, pumps, ecu etc require the
diagnostic examiner. Currently, HHK is the workshop to go to in terms of
pricing and expertise. However, be prepared to wait and call ahead for an
appointment.FA Italia,Mega Auto and Alfatech also have the expertise to
work on the system.

I would recommend going to them in terms of cam-belt change, trouble with
the selespeed system and major mechanical repairs..
But for the routine tthings like oil and filter change, coolants, brakes,
aircond any reputable workshop, including Autochild can do it.

I had a 156 Selespeed before and currently am drivinga 166 so a good alfa
specialist workshop to look after your bella is very important.I use HHK
for major works on the alfa and highly recommed them. I have also used
autochild and can also highly recommend them too for engine flush, ATF
flush, coolant ...etc ie routine normal maitenace work

Cheers.
