Ha? do you need to ask such questions??

Of coz a celica is better than a GTi or any other Proton cars.

The thing you have to consider if you wanna go ahead with your plan is the
costs of maintaining a Celica. For sure, it won't be as cheap as
maintaining a Proton.

Previously i almost traded-in my Putra for an MR2. but then on second
thought, I was afraid of the maintanence costs.

I suggest you don't get that car, one of my friend had it and the car was
in the workshop for lenghty periods as spare parts were hard to find and
I don't think it is much faster than a Sgti

Why not a Fiat Coupe ?

elvinGTi,
Why not? It's a good choice esp when you're bored with the GTi, the
celica ST 4 Wheeler has a sufficient spare parts at potong shop.Somemore,U
can upgrade to ST205 later!Halfcut price is around 3-4K. Go to USJ auto
parts, 2 units still available.Smile

zamorin, you must be kidding me babe. celica gt-four is not much
faster than gti? 3 of my friends are driving that celica, highly modded,
with gt wings and stuff, gorgeous looking, and said better than any
other t=cars they owned previously. but as for the fiat coupe, yes, go
for it, satisfaction guaranteed, inside and outside.

subsonique,

Is it much faster as a stock car ? Modify of course lah.
Anyway my friend had a 1988 celica, different car, sorry about that. If
the spares are available then I think it should be o.k. How much is the
car anyway ? Isn't it 2.0 ?

Are there various versions of Fiat Bravo's around? If so which is the
best, power wise, available in this country ?
Is it faster than a Putra, stock ?

it's ok babe, nowadays that celica you can get it at rm40k.

zamorin, are you interested in getting the bravo? bravo is a real good
car, comfortable and quite poerful, if you tweeked. the ones available
in malaysia are the 1.8gt and 1.6sx. the gt comes with sun roof while
the sx has no sunroof. pick up i reckon the sx has the upperhand
while top speed is the gt. and i am driving the gt while my best cousin
is driving the sx. pick up gila babe sx tu. cornering wise, superb
especially with a set of 17. haha, and the gt growls better when
revved.

in comparison with a putra, well, putra is faster as the hp differs, the
gt is 115hp while putra is 128hp (if i am not mistaken). putra has the
meter of 260 km/h whle gt and sx has only 220 km/h. but if you
tweeked the bravo, let's say safc, piping, headers, muffler, plugs,
filter, cams, chips, it'll fly. i have a friend in jb, riding a gt, just slam in
the safc only, and it goes beyond 220km/h, and now the top speed is
not known as he has not installed the speed meter yet.

so basically, if you wanna feel different, feel the sexiness of italian
curves, you can get the bravo, but if you want something normal, go
get the putra. honestly speaking i love putra. and prior to getting my
bravo, i was gonna get one of my friend's souped up putra, but then it
was still expensive. and if you want a good looking putra, with power,
but still a normally aspirated and unconverted putra, that particular
friend of mine is selling, asap.

yes, on 2nd thought i think i'll keep my sgti instead of a celica.
sometimes when i look at my own car, phewww....it looks damn nice!
although the celica is very sleek and sexy but the sgti is not bad too
comparte to many cars. frankly, which car do u think got better looks
than the sgti (of course without modification)? pls dont compare with
sports car cos they're so much more expensive!!

fiat coupe? its a car that i like to own one day but not now. no extra $$
for maintainence! putra is great! faster tham my car. can't believe it !!!

sometimes when u r tired of the top speend u have achieved, u want
more power!! agree? i was driving my stock sgti at kesas last week at
190kph (rushing to meet a friend), some car suddenly cucuk my back
outta nowhere!!!! suprise! then it overtook me easily and guess what,
its also a sgti!!!

thats why i wanna keep my car!!!

subsonique,

Right now, i'm driving a stock standard putra. i was thinking of getting
a car with more power as standard. my friend is getting a 156, so de
bugger might tapau me with my putra.
I'm not really into mod. Too expensive a business.

Heard the Miata is a good buy and cheap to maintain. The 1.8 is quite
powerful also (good weight to power ratio), rear wheel drive. If really
got extra money can drop in a B8 turbo.

feel how fast your GTI actually can be! :)
