need your help.
i just got a new cd player installed in my waja.
the problem is i think the guy did a bad job, the bass is simply non-
existent.
a fren mentioned that he faced a similar problem in his old car, and it
was caused by mis-wiring (+ and - wiring mixed up)
so im thinking of checking the wiring myself.
can you guys help provide what each colour of the wire in the car
represents?
cant find it in the manual.
cant find it anywhere in this forum too...
thanks

.basically is a component speaker set la..
after installation, my bass effect all mati kaput!!!,..i panic
lor,...so,..i jus try this out myself,...its the "-" and "+" cabling to
the crossover lor..

the "+" terminal on the crossover and "+" cable to the "-" terminal on
the crossover,..and thats it!..all my bass effect comes back to live

my Sony Rear Component speaker is round wan and the size is the same size
as the Original Speaker ,..as i dont see the installer potong any part of
the metal bracket lor..
is original speaker 6 or 6.5 inch?...this wan im not sure lor..he just
slot it in,..screw it on,,.KAU TIM liao,..and do the wiring of course!...
by the way, i missed the part where he remove the rear seat 2 side
cushion lor,..if not remove, the speaker board cannot be slide out
ma...so,just wanna ask u know how to remove the rear 2 side(left and
right) cushion?..can give some tips on how to remove them arr?..
i think any speaker size bigger than the original speaker,,the existing
speaker metal bracket has to be potong /modified in order to install for
example a 6 by 9 or 7 inch speaker lor..

errr,..i just changed to Component speaker only lar,..no amplifier or
subwoofer installed also,,
and the most about the speaker wiring is,..if not install properly, no
sound come out only lar,..
wont short circuit wan,..its just like your those HiFi Set at home ma,,if
not wired properly, no sound come out only lor...
furthermore, im using all the original wiring, never modified those
wiring into good wan..
lets say if koyak also,,my crossover will koyak first before my speaker
set koyak ma..hehehe!
anyway, i change terminal changes liao,,and everything back to normal
liao!..cool!..
