Hi Sifu's

I own a 2003 1.6 (M) Waja. I notice that when I am in 1st gear and start moving the car, there is a vibration. This happens at 2nd gear too. But once the car is already moving and I shift to 3rd onwards, its totally fine and smooth. Its only when i start moving on 1st and I drop from 3rd to 2nd.
My clutch pedal is very low with very little travel and it has a squeeky sound. Not sure if this causes the vibration. Please advise.

Also a couple of bulbs in the speedo panel has fused. I can hardly see the fuel meter. How much will a full replacement of bulbs + workmanship cost? Just a rough estimate please ?

Thank you.

Thank you for you input. Much appreciated. Do you know if anyone has ever worked on the panel themselves?

Meter bulb is easy to replace once you know how to get the panel out from the dashboard. This is the hardest part.

Once you get the panel out, turn the holder anti clockwise and get the bulb out by pulling for W5W type (RM 2.50/ RM3 each, pls refrain from buying local one of RM 1 each)

There is also 1 type where the bulb is soldered to the plastic holder (light for gear position - PRD321 uses this). Just turn anti clockwise as above. Just buy a 1 set (bulb + holder) which cost RM5/6 each set. You cannot change the bulb only for this type.

Workmanship varies but rough estimate around RM 30-RM 50 to change bulb (exclude the bulb)

Thanks a lot. Mine is a manual. Does that soldered bulb still need to be replaced??

Most frequent blown is the bulb that reads the odometer.
You only need to replace those bulb that is blown. There are around 10+ to 20 bulbs at the meter.

Not too sure if the soldered bulb or the W5W bulb type is used for your fuel meter portion (right side).

Meter cluster bulbs replacement is somehow strange. In my case after one bulb is replaced, the other old ones start to burn out within a week after.. end up replacing all the old bulbs..
