120k - may not that cheap!!! maybe it a pertol powered or old model? if it is a 2.0 D.
Lastest should be 2.2 D, for this car - Diesel car is the premium with the highest specs.

Rm170,000-00 for a made-in-thailand (correct me if i'm wrong) Chevrolet is madness. RM120,000-00 would be an ok price for a higher-spec model.

made & assemble in Thailand, with motori diesel engine from italy, Bosch fuel / injector system from Germany, Aishin tranny, and etc... so for 170k is a steal buy but only problem is the service and parts cos it under naza, but if you have jalan for the 2 said matters, is Ok, but if not - it a big problems!!! it runs and outperform in speed at 180-200kph with great AWD stablilty and features of many saloon 2.0 to 2.4 jap cars, do not have. burn only about RM 90 to 100 for 600+ to 700+ kms at full trottle high speed highway drive and about 500+ to 600 + kms for city drive for a 2 tonner and with the many many extra features at the same price .. just my own ueage comment.

i saw adverts in Mudah of the prices for second-hand Captivas. A 2011 model 2.4 petrol is selling for RM 93,800-00.
http://www.mudah.my/...11-18786247.htm
and a diesel one selling for RM105+ for a 2010 model..
http://www.mudah.my/...er-19054267.htm
Seems like the facelifted model's prices has being jacked up a lot.. or there's really no second-hand value to any Chevys, no matter how good the cars are..

Naza is selling 2011Yr made showroom unit at price between RM125k to RM130k. Mileage is less than 2000km. 2.4ltr petrol version. Good buy if you are really keen for it.

that's what i liked about Chevy (or GMDAT for earlier cars). Even my old humble Aveo is a "international" car. Engine designed by Opel of Germany, transmission by Aisin of Japan, design by Giugiaro/Italdesign of Italy, American brand name, Malaysian plastics (kidding, but the quality of the plastics in earlier Chevys are bad), and made in Korea.
For such a huge car like Captiva, diesel is the sensible way...and I agreed that the petrol version's FC is poor.
