Hahaha Persona fuel efficient. Thats the joke of 2008. Proton cars are
never fuel efficient. With high fuel prices and car sales sliding, this is
a publicity stunt to get more unassuming malaysians to buy the persona.
Affordable family car with SUPERB fuel saving. Every middle income group
man/woman's dream.

aiyah fuel efficiency all about HOW u drive wat...

Haven't u seen those numerous episodes of Top Gear where Clarkson driving a much bigger car but had a better milleage compared to the supposed smaller-fuel effient car. Last one I saw he drove a BMW E60 M5 and it went further than a Toyota Prius on a gallon of fuel just because the Pruis was being pussed hard at that speed whereas the M5 was just cruising when traveling at the same speed.
I wonder if you know,
AV girls from Tokyo,
If I see them then I rub it,
Till I know i have to "go".

mostly long distance highway cruising

for us its city that counts most
almost all new EFI cars are recording good fc at highways
where the true color shows is city driving.

Rikeys,

well..in city driving...I average about 14km/liter...which I consider it as average fuel efficiency only for a small engined car... mellow.gif

This feat is actually doable even in a manual Waja Campro (I accomplished this myself).

My journey
- KL-S'pore highway
- 3d 2n stay in S'pore with minor town driving
- S'pore-KL highway with detour to Batu Pahat town to take pic at Uncle Chua's favourite hotel laugh.gif
- refueled at Kajang (57 litres)

My car covered 827km in that journey... and I extrapolated the maximum range to be around 870km for that tank.

I was easy on the throttle most of the time, averaging a speed of 110kph, but there was a stretch where I floored to 170kph to pull away from a BMW X5.

A 4G18 Waja can definitely pull this one off much more easily.

Very suprise with the achievement though, my WAJA (M) Yr2002, can only achieve 750 on full tank till the fuel indicator blink...
Maybe its beacuse I'm using 16 inch rim?
Good for those who can achieve more...save$$$
