i did received my extended warranty certificate last week..issued by
pearl & orient (i'm not so sure about the name..forgot lorr..heheh).
stated there that they extended the warranty from july 2010 to july 2013
(i bought my car last july). So, no more worries...hehehe..

rikeys, what do you mean got cert with service booklet? bcoz i thought
the extended warranty is separated with the service booklet one (only
covers for 2 years). plus, i think that owner must pay for the extended
warranty (like when u buy item/appliances at SenQ).

just my 2 cents..

Hi guys, very happy to announce that my 5year warranty certificate
finally arrived yesterday after more than 3 months from date of purchase--
issued by P&O Insurance. But what I dont understand is why some got it
early, some late and some never get it at all even after 1 year.I think
Proton is crazy ! Pity those who are still waiting and wish you all the
best.Smile

HiRalf, are you certain that the extended warranty covers only engine
and transmission only?I was told by a staff from service centre that it
also covers cooling system,drive train,brake system,electrical
system, suspension and air con.Hope what I heard is correct. Can someone
confirm which version is correct?Smile
