Thanks very informative! I've been trying to pry out some parts of the engine coz I want to boost my car's performance the engine bay is filled with many components so replacing the battery with a smaller one with same power and wattage would require a lot of conversion but very helpful in making space for new parts right?...
Thanks to kenso for kick-starting the thread and benfoo for adding VERY important pics to it. I tell ya why... Battery in my 5008 kicked the bucket few days ago, and there I was, cellphone in hand, in the dark of night, following the pics of PAGE 1 (ONLY), trying to remove the air filter. Didn't read page 2 with benfoos info on the 'catches'. The moral of the story, folks is...know where the catches are! Or else in the dark one may just try to wiggle, yank and then, failing to pull anything out, in anger forcibly drag the whole guts of the car out. Oh, in total, 5 covers have to be removed before one can get to the battery. Call that French logic (or lack thereof).
