Hi guys,

I just paid a booking today for a 118i pre-registered at Glenmarie showroom year 2014 with very minimal mileage on the clock.

Any owners of 118i or 116i here who would like to share their ownership experience?

By the way, I have to small kids, 2 and 4 years old and my current or soon-to-be-sold car is a Mondeo.

Why I opt for a 118i is because of it being quite sporty and also a rear wheel drive car.

Thanks.

good choice. my neighbor has one. other than some suspension thump, the car has been good to him (around 7 months of ownership).

the F20 is the last rear wheel drive hot hatch. so it will be the last of its type. which is sad.

why sell the mondeo?

I sold it because we no longer need to bring 2 strollers whenever we go out to malls etc as the kids have grown up a bit.

And of course, the lure of driving a rear wheel drive car is something that I won't wanna miss.

And the fact that it will be the last 1-series with rear wheel drive set up (F20 and F21 later), it could potentially be in high demand years later.
